Oh! Uhm, hi. I really just wanted to let you know how much I adore your work. To be honest, I am still not sure if BFF is a love story (and recently it's physically hurting me not to know, there's just so much bottled up man pain everywhere), but the best part is that it doesn't even matter! I have never encountered a web comic that could get me so invested, not to mention connected - to story and characters. thank you for that! <3

summer theory: Vincent and teddy time traveled into the future where they're married with an adopted kid. But teenage Vincent was not comfortable with the idea of marrying his high school sweetheart, so that's why he's being such an indecisive dick.

My summer theory: They were having a great time but one night it got dark and they weren't anywhere near a city or hotel so they had to sleep in the car. Well thats a tight fit in the back seat and Teddy neglected to mention that he's a snuggler. While he was sound asleep Vincent was wide awake and feeling VERY awkward.
My theory is that Teddy's parents will have him placed into an arranged marriage when he turns eighteen. Vincent found out about this during the summer and is Not The Picture of Chill right now.
oops I lied I’ll deny this one, Teddy’s parents didn’t do that (their own marriage wasn’t arranged either!)

Vincent was probs like ILOVEYOUTEDDY and Teddy was probably all "oh gosh, you're confused by my obvious charm and sex appeal" and doesn't want to take advantage and now that Vincent is all homophobic, it is just confirming Teddy's first thought. **THEORIES** Please confirm or deny.

Hehe, a little late. I just saw the ask. I totally agree that Teddy's not submissive at all but I think that he'll let Vincent make the first move. Since Vincent has a harder time acting on it, Teddy will wait for him to be fully comfortable with the whole relationship thing, or at least comfortable enough to DO something about it. Otherwise he might just…scare him? (I’m trying to be articulate here.) That, and Vincent has the whole ‘pride’ thing going on, and I’m sure Teddy respects that.
